Where We Are

Whitehead Presbyterian Church celebrated its centenary in 2000, having been founded in the early days of the development of the area. Whitehead is a small seaside town with a population of about 4000 at the north-east end of Belfast Lough. It grew around the railway line running from the port of Larne to Belfast. It has a busy centre with a variety of attractive, local shops. Considerable housing development extends towards Islandmagee to the north and the farmland to the west. Over the last few decades there has been a large influx of new residents to the town.
